The House Special Committee on Utility Restructuring has considered:           
                                                                               
HOUSE BILL NO. 185                                                            
"An Act exempting certain small water utilities from regulation by            
the Alaska Public Utilities Commission."                                       
                                                                               
and recommends it be replaced with:                                            
                                                                               
CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 185(URS)                                                
"An Act exempting certain small water utilities from regulation by            
the Alaska Public Utilities Commission; and providing for an                   
effective date."
